Producing cheaper electricity from stabilizing the market price when part of the surround power generation offline.
These batteries will store energy from the sun and other energy sources and later feed the energy into the grid and continually support town and cities, providing lower and stable electricity price during peak time.
When system fault occurs, the battery system will provide more consistent electricity supply, preventing a fault from affecting Coleambally and surrounding cities/towns.This project will contribute to Australia’s transition to renewable energy and increase the reliability of the grid.
